A driveway takes more abuse than any other slab on your property, so we build it accordingly. Every driveway starts with removing the old concrete or asphalt and getting down to solid ground, then building a compacted base of crushed rock that is placed and compacted across the whole area, with extra attention on the edges.
We set forms for proper slope and drainage, install rebar reinforcement, and pour a 4,000 psi mix for better wear and a denser surface than the typical 2,500 psi mix. Control joints are cut to the right depth and spacing so any cracking happens where it should, not across the middle of your slab.
Finish options include a classic broom finish, exposed aggregate, or a smooth trowel finish, with a cure-and-seal to help the concrete cure evenly.
